The Disabled

Due to participation in a conference Rafal Charlampowicz, a manager in a Computer Lab for blind and visually impaired students will be absent on the 28th and 29th of October.

Pawel Urbanski, a student of the 5th year of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdansk, has climbed Kilimanjaro. Pawel Urbanski is the first blind person from Poland and perhaps the first blind person from Europe who has climbed this highest mountain of Africa. Congratulations!

A computer equipment for blind users has been temporarily moved from the Languages and History Faculty to the UG Central Library (Wita Stwosza Street 53, room no. 339, phone: 58 523-32-72, University local phone: 3272). The equipment will be accessible in the Main Library until the computer lab at the Languages and History Faculty is redecorated.

Mgr Szymon Formela has finished his work as UG Disabled Students and Employees Specialist. We would like to thank mgr Formela for his engagement in his work and wish him all the best in his academic career.
